Staying on top of things and keeping the energy to get work done throughout the day can sometimes lead to burnout when things get a little too overwhelming to handle. There are also days when you don't have the energy to do it and want to take some time off, and I get that! Taking time off or break intervals throughout your day helps ensure you won't get burned out and carry on your day. Here are some productivity tips to guide you through the day:
1. Prioritize Your Tasks
Also discussed on California Coast University's site, when a person prioritizes their tasks, it will benefit them because it will optimize work performance, help give more time to check for errors, less stress, stay motivated, and help combat getting into the procrastination zone.

2. Plan Ahead
According to Alan Lakin, “Planning is bringing the future into the present so that you can do something about it now.” With a plan in mind and prepared, a person can assess the risks and possible opportunities for self-growth, development, and success. Planning also gives the person confidence and less worry as they have prepared ahead contingency plans and possible solutions to address a problem that will be encountered, when a schedule suddenly cancels, or an unexpected deadline comes up.

3. Stay Focus
Cal Newport defined "Deep work is the ability to focus without distraction on a cognitively demanding task. It's a skill that allows you to quickly master complicated information and produce better results in less time. Deep work will make you better at what you do and provide the sense of true fulfillment that comes from craftsmanship." I believe all of us have that deep work and its a matter of trial and error on finding what works for you. I recommend reading Deep Work by Cal Newport if you want to explore further about the idea. Overall, make sure to keep distractions away from your workspace, take break and explore mindfulness exercises to keep you on the ground and stay present.
